Adam, Stephanie, Hayden, Megan, & Ellie Conway

Ellie Rhianne Conway joined us bright and early on February 23rd.  Papa and Nana were noticeably absent.  We tried to be there...but Ellie decided she didn't want to enter the world on our timetable, and showed up about 5 days later.  Bummer!  However, Nana snuck out the door, almost the minute Papa took off for South Africa, and made a flying trip to see her newest grand-baby.  Oh, it was well worth the long drive to Colorado from Phoenix!  She's a keeper.  Looks an awful lot like her big sister.  So far, she's been a very good baby.  Brother and sister are pretty proud!  You can check out some more pictures of Ellie on the grand-baby picture page.

Adam, Cherissa, AJ, Titus and Addilyn Forrest

Recently, Adam decided to re-enlist in the Army for another 3 years.  Now that his troops have returned from Iraq after a second go-round, he'll be transferred to the base south of Tucson sometime in June for his Captain's Carreer Course.  This will only be a five month season, but we'll be thrilled to have them closer for whatever time we can get them.  The kids are doing great - the boys are all boy.  Most of the time Titus (middle) can be found in cowboy gear.  AJ is an "all round" stud, and Addy is our little princess, walking all over the place (and she's not quite one).

Rob, Amanda & Ethan Burgmann

School is back in full swing for Rob and Mandy.  Mandy's learning what it is like to juggle being a wife, mom, teacher, resident life director, and volleyball coach.  She loves where God has her right now and sees each of her roles as a real opportunity for ministry.  She's a wonderful woman - gifted in many areas.  It has been fun seeing her "come into her own."   Rob loves his ministry position at Phoenix Christian Elementary School.  He's a great teacher, loves the kids, and has really stepped up in a leadershp role at the school.  What a role model he is for those little ones!

Ethan continues to GROW!  He's a little charmer and seems to have a gift for "singing."  Whenever we try to sing to him, he does his very best to sing along with us.  Ethan is very observant - his little eyes take in everything!

Chris, Lori, and Conner Kelly

Battling a snowy winter, Chris has taken on extra work doing "snow removal" in Pagosa.  He heads to Montana again for a few weeks to finish up some specialty classes in taxidermy this winter.  By summer, he hopes to really gear up for doing more of this kind of work, and turning more of the painting over to his younger brother.  He'll still supervise the painting business, but is anxious to begin the job he's dreamed about for some time.   Conner just turned "3" - where does the time go!  He's a fun guy, and loves to go on a bear hunt around the house with Papa or Nana, doesn't really matter which one of us...he's just ready to hunt!  Lori's a great mom and wife.  She loves having the freedom to stay at home with Conner and be a helpmeet for Chris.

Please join us in praying for God's best and His watchcare over all our children...What He has in mind is what we desire for them.
